mensen kunnen het zichzelf en anderen zo vreselijk lastig maken.
maar de dresden dolls hebben een nieuwe cd met een stuk of 3, 4 liedjes die de moeite zijn, en death cab for cutie heeft een nieuwe cd met 1 liedje (de single, met dat enorme intro) dat echt de moeite is. en bosnië heeft een hilarische bijdrage voor het songfestival.

zag je ooit zo'n mooi stel? en ze zingen + dat kunnen ze (al zijn de liedjes flut, toegegeven). & dan zijn er nog alan rickman én borat in strakke glimmende maillots (toch iig grappig) die ook gaan zingen (rickman die 'pompompom' bromt is een toppunt van hilariteit). |

vanochtend hadden volwassenen het erover of we dieren niet te veel antropomorfiseren, vannacht discussiëren hip-uitziende jongeren op de eo erover of God er nu wel of niet blij mee is dat de mens stout is ('Ik verzeker je dat God daar niet blij mee is'). uiteindelijk heeft iedereen kennelijk toch een ouder en een kind nodig, iemand die voor je zorgt en iemand om voor te zorgen. maar dan het liefst lekker abstract. |

maar wie weet nu nog wat discrimineren en wat 'je mening geven' is.

crossing border was nog best leuk, meer dankzij corina dan dankzij de 'artiesten' (met als dieptepunten een ijslandse schrijver die niet in het engels voor kon dragen & mike heron die ooit een cultfenomeen was maar toch echt niet kan zingen), maar wat wel altijd goed is is okkervil river:

dusss... iemand belangstelling voor een kaartje voor de zaterdag van crossing border?
24 november, in den haag, er komen bands als Black Rebel Motorcycle Club en Patti Smith (zie www.crossingborder.nl). ook als je iemand kent die fan is van een artiest die komt, laat het me weten. het is uitverkocht & kaartjes waren bijna 30 euro (met servicekosten erbij), maar bied me maar iets, voor 20 euro doe ik 'm ook al weg. |
